How to Maintain the Sewage Suction Truck With Water-circulation Pump

The vacuum pump of the sewage suction truck is the main device for generating suction. A good sewage suction pump will make your sewage suction truck more efficient and energy-saving. There are two main types of vacuum pumps used in sewage suction trucks, namely rotary vane vacuum pumps (commonly known as oil pumps) and water circulation pumps. The water circulation pump is quickly recognized by everyone because of its simple structure, easy maintenance, low cost of use, and high speed of sewage suction. More and more people choose to install water circulation pumps in vacuum suction trucks.

Although the structure of the water circulation pump is simple, it also needs to be maintained. Otherwise, it will be awkward with your temper, making your suction truck's suction power smaller and even unable to suck the pollution. Now let's talk briefly about how to maintain and maintain the water circulation pump of the vacuum suction truck.

1. Regularly check the lubrication of bearings. Grease the bearings 3-4 times a year, and clean the bearings at least once a year. In this way, the wear of bearings can be reduced, the service life of the water circulation pump can be extended, and the operating cost of the vacuum suction truck can be reduced.

2. Pay attention to the temperature of the bearings operation. When the water circulation pump is working, the temperature of the bearings is 15 degrees to 20 degrees higher than the outside temperature, and the maximum is not allowed to exceed 55 degrees to 60 degrees. If the bearings temperature is found to be abnormal, the suction truck needs to stop the operation immediately and check the cause.

3. If the sewage suction truck uses a packing-sealed water circulation pump, the packing needs to be compressed regularly. If the required sealing performance cannot be guaranteed due to the packing wear, the new packing should be replaced. When cleaning the bearings every year, the remaining packing should be cleaned up and replaced with new packing. The packing cannot be compressed too tightly, allowing water to drip out to ensure cooling and sealing.

4. If the vacuum suction truck uses a mechanically sealed water circulation pump, leakage occurs, you should check whether the dynamic and static circulations of the mechanical seal have been damaged, or the seal circulation is aging. If the above situation occurs, you need to replace the new accessories.

5. Regularly check the transmission belt on the water circulation pump. When the belt has cracks, scratches, damage, cracks in the overlapping parts, etc., the belt should be replaced in time to prevent the belt from suddenly breaking and hurting the person when the suction truck is operating. Adjust the tightness of the belt with the tensioner.

6. Pay attention to the water level of the water circulation pump water tank at any time. More rather than less. Do not let the water circulation pump lack water to prevent the phenomenon of burning the pump.

7. Regularly clean the rust residue in the water tank to prevent the rust residue flow into the water circulation pump and damaging it.

8. Prevent backflushing. Prevent the sewage from being sucked into the water ring pump during the operation of the sewage suction truck. Once this happen, immediately stop the operation, and disassemble the water circulation pump, clean the pump cavity, water tank, four-way valve, etc. Prevent damage to the water circulation pump.
